A born explorer and professional photographer, Andrew Sproule has been creating thought-provoking, inspirational wildlife and adventure imagery for over 15 years.

This showcase is his platform for telling stories. A place where his experiences and exploits are shared and valuable insight in to the worlds of wildlife and the environment is provided. Building awareness and educating through nature photography has always been his focus and continues to be fundamental to his approach. It’s the reason he leaps out of bed each morning. That, and the smell of coffee!!

He is a self-confessed perfectionist and animal lover and when not travelling he bases himself in the historic market town of Tonbridge in Kent. Although a move to Devon, Dorset or the Highlands of Scotland is on the cards.

Andrew is passionate about Africa and Asia and he counts himself extremely fortunate to have travelled extensively as an Adventure & Wildlife photographer. He believes that the years of in-the-field and on-location experience have given him invaluable and comprehensive understanding of animal behaviour. It’s this knowledge that allows him to extract the best out of the opportunities while on location.

He also has a wealth of tour operator experience having worked as Creative Director for some of the UK's top travel brands, including Virgin Holidays, TUI and QANTAS. And, as a result has had the opportunity to lead many educational trips to Africa, Asia and America for staff and affiliate partners.

Andrew uses two Canon cameras - the 1DX and the 5D3 with lenses ranging from 15mm fisheye through to 500mm.

Andrew is also the founder of dog photography brand Vue.Dog which he established to cater for pet owners in the UK. And, just like adventure and wildlife photography, Andrew is often waste deep in water, down in the mud, up a tree or in a hedge to get "that" shot.
